Monetization Policy

Effective date: 1 July 2026Placeholder — not legal advice

How money flows on KLOOP: where revenue comes from, how it is shared with creators, and what counts toward earnings.

1.Eligibility

Monetization is available to approved creators in good standing, with verified identity and an accepted Creator Agreement. It can be paused for guideline or fraud violations.

2.Revenue sources

Advertiser campaign budgets, direct creator and show sponsorships, external distribution revenue (e.g., partner platforms), and — in future — viewer subscriptions.

3.Platform share

KLOOP retains a platform share of gross revenue (30% by default) to fund hosting, moderation, payments and growth. Founding creators may have contracted custom shares.

4.Qualified views

Earnings allocations are based on qualified engagement: a view counts once a viewer watches at least 30 seconds, with per-device daily caps and fraud filtering.

5.Campaign allocation

Campaign revenue attributed to your content is allocated pro-rata by qualified watch time (or qualified views for CPM deals) across the videos the campaign ran against.

6.Sponsorships

Flat sponsorship fees are credited to the sponsored creator after the platform share, once the sponsorship is delivered.

7.Invalid traffic

Views flagged by our fraud systems (device farms, loops, bots) earn nothing and may trigger review. Deliberate manipulation forfeits related earnings.

8.Reporting

The Creator Studio shows earnings per source in RWF, updated as revenue events are recorded. Figures are provisional until included in a payout.

9.Taxes

Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations. KLOOP may withhold where required by Rwandan law and will issue annual earning statements.

10.Changes

Revenue share percentages and thresholds may change with 30 days' notice; individually contracted terms are unaffected without consent.
